This book deals with work-life balance issues encountered by Married IT professionals, School Teachers, and Self-employed women. This book emphasizes the role of the organization and the government to provide work-life balance initiatives and work-life balance policies for the married women IT professionals, school teachers, and self-employed to eradicate their work-life imbalance issues such as extended working hours, heavy workload and responsibilities, excessive demands of family dependents, work-family conflict and family-work conflict factors which ultimately leads to the psychological distress and poor well-being of the respondents. It also talks about the ways for removing work-life imbalance of the employees through job enrichment, employees’ motivation, and their job satisfaction. It also suggests the ways for retention of employees and continues running of the business by self-employed women. The author is an Assistant Professor in Commerce at Pondicherry University (CC), Lawspet, and Puducherry. He has received M.Com and M.Phil. from the University of Madras. He did his MBA (International Business) at Annamalai University and Ph.D. in Thiruvalluvar University. He has cleared UGC NET (National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor) both in Commerce and Management. He also passed State Level Educational Testing (SLET) for Lectureships in Commerce conducted by Bharathidasan University and State Eligibility Test (SET) for Assistant Professor.
