Colonel Arun Hariharan

Arun Hariharan, also known by his nom de plume “Raayan,” is an Indian Army veteran & an author, poet and travel blogger based out of New Delhi, India. His best-selling collection of Short Stories titled A Baker’s Dozen: 13 Chilling Indian Tales of Macabre which incorporated three of his passions – travel, history and exploring local legends-was published in 2021. His second book, a solo collection of poetry titled A Patchwork Quilt: Sketches in Verse was published earlier in January 2024.

His works-both short stories and poetry have also been published over 50 times in a number of international anthologies and literary journals. One of his poems published in the UK was appreciated by King Charles III and Princess Anne, the Princess Royal.
