A passionate poetess with strong urge to look far and beyond to what can be seen, heard or felt.
Her forte is writing strong poems in Hindi and English (mainly free verses, nazm, gazals etc). She is a feminist, who staunchly believes in equal opportunities and rights for women. She is a humanist who believes that a life’s purpose should be serving humanity which will save the world from going into chaos one day. She focuses on penning down deep-rooted feelings and internal debates. Her wish is to stir consciences and initiate change in the mindsets through her sword with ink. Married to Olive Green, currently she is residing in Bareilly with her life partner and twin daughters.
Born on 21 January 1984 at Agra, Neha is a passionate and proficient writer who has been writing since childhood. As of now, she loves to write in three languages, Hindi, English and Rekhta. She has three published books to her credentials in such short frame of time. ‘Main Wo Harf Nahi’ was published in 2019 which contains poetry in free verse in Hindi as well as Rekhta, covering all the aspects of day to day life. Other two are ‘Rang-e-Niha’ and ‘Chaubees Darwaze’, consisting of Ghazals and Nazms, conversing dexterously the deep-rooted philosophies about life and its inner intricate workings. These got published in 2020 and 2024 respectively. Her selected work has also been published in two anthologies. She edited a Hindi novel on military tales of courage. She had been a Co-Editor of the 2022 issue of an annual bilingual Dweep Sangam e-magazine, named ‘Ankuran – Blooming beyond Barriers’.
Her writing style comprises of a modus operandi of conversation and dialogues with readers instead of preaching and prophesying. She is a devotee of words and for her, writing is equivalent to worshipping one’s deity.
